Flow Verification
The Need
When flow must be measured in an existing line, or an installed flowmeter does not match process expectations, a sound basis for testing and comparison is needed. A field survey examines flow under relevant operating conditions.
The measurement method depends on the fluid, pipe characteristics, process conditions and access to the measuring point.
Our Approach
IPS provides on-site flow measurement and verification in Israel, selecting a method suited to the application. Where conditions allow, external clamp-on ultrasonic measurement can be used without cutting the pipe at the measuring point.
Line suitability is assessed before the work. Findings and measurement limitations are documented for review of actual flow and comparison with the installed instrument, including coordination with an overseas equipment supplier where needed.
